1. Computer Hardware

Computer hardware means the physical parts of the computer that we can touch and see.

Examples:

  • Monitor
  • CPU (Central Processing Unit)

  • Mouse
  • Printer

Used to enter data into the computer.
Example: Keyboard, Mouse

2. Output Devices

Used to show results.
Example: Monitor, Printer

3. Storage Devices

Used to store data.
Example: Hard disk, Pen drive

2. Computer Software

Computer software means programs and instructions that tell the computer what to do.

  • Helps computer run properly
  • Example: Operating System (Windows, Linux)

2. Application Software

  • Used to do specific work
  • Example: MS Word, Paint, Browser

3. Peripheral Devices

Peripheral devices are extra devices connected to a computer.

  • Storage peripherals (Pen drive, External hard disk)

4. Data

Data means raw facts and figures.

When data is processed, it becomes useful information.

5. Computer Users

Computer users are people who use computers for different purposes.
